I am an assistant professor of philosophy at Iowa State University. My main areas are ethics (including business and technology ethics) and political philosophy. Before coming to Iowa State, I studied economics, government, and philosophy at Vanderbilt, Harvard, and Duke, spent two years studying philosophy at the Angelicum in Italy, earned my Ph.D. at the University of Arizona, and was a research associate in the Eudaimonia Institute at Wake Forest University. My work has appeared in journals including The Journal of Philosophy, The Urban Lawyer (ABA), The Canadian Journal of PhilosophyEthics, and Economics and Philosophy.
